Double D Up…Dolly Parton

Breast, boobs, booby, jugs, hooter, the girls, titty, tits, teats, breasticle… Whatever you want to call them. If they’re too small you have a problem and if they’re too big you have a major problem. For me the problem is major. If you have seen my pictures then you know my cup runs over (sometimes literally).

Most guys don’t see this as a problem. However, when shopping it can sometimes be my personal hell. Why? How do I explain? Lets start with the bra.

If you have a D cup or larger than a good bra is an important as food and water. Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating but it is really important. Did you know that a proper fitting bra could make you look ten pounds lighter? So where do I start? Intimacy Boutique is my go to place. I’m a 32 F (European size/ DD American size) and this is the only place I have found that carries a 32 band sizes in larger cups. But beware they are crazy high. I usually pay anywhere from $80-$120 for my slingshots catapults. And be prepared to go topless in front of your Intimacy bra specialist because she will be in the fitting room with you helping you into your bra. My favorites are:

Everyday Bra

This bra looks amazing under a T-shirt. I have three of this style.

Sexy Bra

The Chantelle Lace Bras is like the goddesses of sexy bras. It looks great, feels good, and the support is amazing. I have two Chantelle styles similar to this one.

Sport Bra

Working out with big breast can be very painful without the right sports bra. I’ve found the best sports bra ever. The Enell bulletproof vest Bra is not the prettiest thing but it is the most comfortable bra I have ever worked out in. You have to try it.

Okay so you may be wondering why I am spending so much time talking about bras? Well, yesterday I was reading The Fontenot 4 and Sarah is collecting bra for an organization called Free The Girls.  This is a non-profit organization that provides jobs opportunities to women rescued from sex trafficking.

I am asking, no begging you to help with this bra drive. If you are like me then you have a couple of bras that you never wear. Please, please, please, send them to Sarah.  You can visit her blog or send her a tweet to get her contact information.

  2. First, go SARAH and the bra campaign ..... I'm going through my "stash" ASAP.
Second, you had me at jugs. My boobs - and a humorous post about them and a bridesmaid dress - got me into trouble, per se, with the bride-to-be. { You can read it here ---> http://nicoleandkevin.wordpress.com/2012/04/12/the-effect-of-a-post-about-expensive-boobs/} The wedding eventually got called off but I have a dress hanging in my closet just waiting for any occasion!

P.S. Thanks for sharing this bra company, I'm in SERIOUS need of a good bra. Stop being a cheap-a$$ and get one that's realllllly good. Bethenny Frankel did a segment on her show last week on bras and bra-fitting, it's amazing how little we know about The Girls and how to contain them!!!

    Love this post! Happy fourth!

    1. Intimacy's bras are amazing. Plus they last a long time if you care for them. I got my first one in 08 and it is still going strong.

Thanks for helping out with the bra drive. That makes you AWESOME!

  3. GREAT post!! I really need to get out of Victoria's Secret and look for a better/custom fit bra... I got some "tig-ol-bitties" (hahaahhaha) that need some control. Plus I love the cause behind this post... I'm totally looking into it! Thanks girl!

  6. I've worn Enell sports bras for over 6 years now. I feel like a biker chic every time I put mine on, but nothing works better for the girls when working out!
