Thats Not My Name

Decades ago a little girl went by the name Baby Girl Harris for the first week of her life because her parents couldn't decide on a name. My mom wanted to name me Penelope. Thanks God my dad vetoed that {no disrespect to you Penelope(s) out there but that name doesn't fit my personality}. After much debate, my dad came up with the name Tranae. 

Only back then it was spelled Trana. After about three years of having my name mispronounced (for some reason people thought it was pronounced "train"), my mom decided to change the spelling to Tranae with an accent over the "e" ...which I never use.  Still didn't help but it made her happy. Over the years, I have been called: "trey-nae" "trina" and my all time favorite "Renee" because clearly the "T" is silent.

So whats the point of this post? I'm bored..duh. Just kidding, I'm changing my name again. Oh...I'm still answering to Tranae. But I'm making some changes to my social media names. After doing a google search of my name (yeah I'm that vain) a lot of my Instagram & blog stuff came up. Which is good for the blog, but bad for my career life. The thing is, in my profession too much social media is frowned upon. And since I'm on the job market again, I decided to change the names on my social media sites.
