Velma's Box

A couple of weekends ago, my mom asked me over to clean out my old room. Her exact words were “You better come get this stuff or I’m gone throw it away.” After going through all my childhood junk keepsakes, my mom passes me my grandma’s old jewelry box. I didn’t realize this when I was younger but Gran had style. Check out some of the pieces I found.

The gold on this ring actually turned out to be real. I plan on taking it to a jeweler to get some info about the stone.

Isn't this bow the sweetest?

I came across this brooch for the first time a while ago. I actually wore it in my hair for my wedding.

How cute would this look on a scarf this fall?

This piece turn out to be a brooch/ comb set. How neat is that? The birds detach from the main pin to form two little comb.

I love these earrings. The picture doesn't do them justice.

Stay Fab,
Tranae

  5. I wear a lot of my grandmother's jewelry as well. I think when we are young we don't realize how stylish the items really are. Once I got a little older and I gave them a second look I was like wow these are some really gorgeous jewelry!
