You know the saying, “What is done in the dark, will soon
come to light.” Well turns out that crap is a true statement. Who knew? A
couple of days ago, I purchased some make-up brushes online from Sephora.
What’s the problem in that? I spent the money we had sat aside to get my wisdom
teeth pulled. (Don’t judge me) My plan
was to hide the brushes and put the money back before the hubby knew. Well
guess what came today... a day early. Yes, the makeup brushes. And it just so
happens that we used the front door instead of going through the garage like we
usually do. The odds were never in my favor.
Moral of this story: always track your shipments when you are trying to
hide them from your better half. You could also say the moral of this story is
to always tell the truth. But really, where is the adventure in that? (Just
kidding…kind of) Anyways… I got two minutes of “time out”. No I didn’t have to
sit on the naughty chair but my husband went two minutes without talking to me.
Some may say that is a win-win situation. Ha!
These are the beauties I got for $99. And their regular
price is $275! Say what!
Anywho... just wanted to let you know that next week is
finals week. Yay! So starting Monday I will be away from the blog and most of my social media
outlets. So don’t bother me! (LOL...Just Kidding. I love the attention) I’m so excited because this is my last quarter
of coursework. Nothing left to do now but pass the comprehensive exam, complete
internship, and write my dissertation. Then it is PhD for me. I think I’ll
change my name to Dr. Fabulous. J
Until Next Time.
Stay Fabulous!

****Update, 11.1.12*****
I returned the brushes due to excessive shedding. I think I just got a bad batch. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

That is too funny - I do that, too - order on the sly...lol
ReplyDeleteDr. Fabulous has a nice ring to it!

Hehehe, love it! I do this too... always keep your eye on that tracking ;)
ReplyDeleteSo worth it though, for $99!
I don't buy much "on the sly" as someone put it, but if Husband is giving me the silent treatment (aka not talking to me for 2 minutes or more), my heart is crushed!!!! HAHAHAHA

ReplyDeleteI always tend to be way too nervous to buy things online, so I don't have too much of this problem.
