Hey fabulous folks and happy Friday to you. Back in July, I
was contacted by Cleopatra’s Choice to review a couple of their products.
Although I received the products back in August, I’m just getting around to
writing the review. Its not that I’ve been goofing off, I just really believe
in using a product before I associate my name with it. With that being said, I
have used these products for the last four weeks and here is what I think.
For this review I received the Adovia Dead Sea Mud Soap,
Adovia Purifying Dead Sea Face Mask, and the Cleopatra’s Choice Pure African
Shea Butter. All of these products were received in exchange for this review.

Like: I like the smell of this soap. I have really bad sinus
trouble so certain smells sends me into a sneezing spell. Thankfully, I didn’t
have this issue with this soap.
Love: I love that this soap doesn’t dry out my skin. I
primarily used this as hand soap and it left my hands clean without the dry
feeling. I didn’t use the soap in the shower but my husband did. He really
liked it so we will probably buy some more when this runs out.
Hate: I wasn’t head over heels with the color of the soap.
The soap is a dark blackish/grayish color. Which makes sense since it is mud
soap but it makes the water look dirty.
Retail Price: $36
Like: This mask spreads like butter. I know that may not
sound like a big deal but believe me, when doing a facial, the last thing you
want is a rough mask.
Love: I used this mask on my face, neck, and back. It left
my skin feeling soft and smooth. I have used this once a week for three weeks
and I have seen great improvements to my skin’s texture and a reduction of
blackheads.
Hate: Insert blank stare here… no really, this is really a
product I would stand behind. My only suggestion would be to use dark towels
with this product because your white towels are going to look weird. However,
no permanent staining was experienced. I just tossed them in the wash and they came
out white & clean.
Retail Price: $18
Like: There is a lot of product in the container so there is
a ton of different things you can use this with. I used it to make some body scrub, hair
moisturizer, and body butter. I will post the recipes I used later next week so
be sure to check back.
Love: This product left my skin feeling amazing. Especially
my feet, which are always super dry. After getting out of the shower, I apply
this product mixed with my lotion to my feet then put on a thick pair of socks
for a couple of minutes.
Hate: Where is the chisel? This stuff is super hard. This
was my first time working with raw shea butter so I wasn’t prepared for how
hard it was going to be. However, after reading up on shea butter, this is
considered normal. I popped it in the
microwave to loosen it up. You could also melt it in a melting pot.

I received these review products also. Took a while to receive them but I loved the soap! My skin felt wonderful
